HOD's Message

Our program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to become competent radiology technologists, capable of providing high-quality patient care. At SDBIT, our experienced faculty members are committed to providing you with high-quality education and training, covering various aspects of medical imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. BMRIT, or B.Sc. Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, is a three and a half year undergraduate course that prepares students for a career as radiology technologists. The course covers various aspects of medical imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. In addition, students learn about radiation safety, patient care, and the ethical aspects of using medical imaging technology.Upon completion of the program, graduates can pursue a career as radiology technologists, performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists. They can also work in research and development, healthcare management, or pursue further education in related fields.
